Where do I go to find out about services?

Can I book online or do I need to call to schedule?
You can certainly book online, which is a fast and efficient way to ensure you get the time and date you want! This is for both Greenville, SC services, as well as virtual services.
Do I need to have a referral in order to be seen?
Absolutley not! You may call or book online anytime without the need for referral.
I've booked an appointment...What's next?
After booking an appointment, you will be sent an invite to an online client portal. From here, you will be sent multiple forms, including privacy policies (HIPPA), informed consent, and a basic intake/demographics form.
Where are you located? Where do I go?
Physical Office: 702 Pettigru Street, Greenville SC 29601 (Inside of the North Main Counseling office building). Please enter into office and wait in the primary waiting area. Dr. Wiles will attend to you at your scheduled time.
What to Expect
These services sound different than traditional psychotherapy/counseling, are they?
What does the initial intake consult look like?
Are you able to talk with other people about my treatment, like my physician or spouse, if I want you to consult with them?
Under HIPAA privacy laws, we will not release any information about you without a signed release that gives us the permission to talk to someone of your choosing. Once you sign this release of information documentation, we will be happy and legally able to talk with those you choose in order to coordinate your treatment and goals.

What does a biofeedback/neurofeedback session look like?
Biofeedback: Depending on the type of training, individuals will be hooked up to one or more sensors that examines their physiology. For example, with individuals with tension-type headaches or migraines, they may be hooked up to EMG sensors that assess the amount of muscular tension they are holding. Then, through the feedback on information, in real time and displayed on a computer screen, the individual learns how to manipulate and self-regulate the area of concern. In turn, the computer will provide you will feedback on how you are doing. Over time, you will learn these self-regulation techniques and be able to implement them throughout your day, resulting in less pain, anxiety, stress, etc.
