What is Neurofeedback and QEEG?
Neurofeedback has been demonstrated in research and clinical trials to be effective for those with:
-
ADHD (LEVEL 5 Treatment Status!)
-
Enhancing Peak Cognitive Performance
-
Anxiety
-
Depression
-
PTSD
-
Addiction Disorders
-
Enhancing Sports Performance

Did you know we can get a snapshot (like a picture) of where your brain may be under or over-performing and, over time, make significant changes to help increase performance?

Through QEEG Brain Mapping and Neurofeedback, you can inherently change the way that your brain functions!

Neurofeedback displays measurements of your brain wave activity, in real time, so that you can make needed changes through the process of self-regulation. During a neurofeedback session, sensors are placed on specific sites on your head (depending on your QEEG evaluation) and will monitor changes in brain wave functioning. Through feedback from the computer, you will learn how to both increase and decrease brain activity, which will result in improved health, well-being, and performance. As you continue to train, over time, the brain begins to "reset the thermostat." In other words, your brain learns and maintains the changes from training.

Quantitative Electroencephaloraphy or QEEG Brain Mapping is the starting place to neurofeedback. This process helps us to analyze full EEG data of different areas of your brain, and then, from a statistical analysis, we are able to compare the activity of your brain to the normal population. This data is converted to different color maps, which we call brain maps. Basically, this helps us to establish a baseline of your brain functioning and monitor changes over time while completing neurofeedback.
